I am the founder of eddit Incorporated, a studio that focuses on UI design for web, desktop and mobile apps. I've had the fortune of working with companies like Apple, Disney, iHome, Marriott and Tumblr, as well as a number of talented independent developers. I occasionally speak at user-groups in the Richmond design community, and previously taught interaction design at the VCU BrandCenter graduate program.
On a Personal Note
I studied illustration at Virginia Commonwealth University and created eddit as a personal design exploratory ("eddit" was my nickname). Shortly after college I co-founded Roundtable, a Richmond design studio, where I served as Creative Director of the interactive department. In 2002 I decided to break out on my own and incorporated "eddit".
When not happily pushing pixels I enjoy surfing, going commando on the paintball field, and camping trips with my family. I fancy myself an amateur photographer (which mostly means that I bought a DSLR) with my Nikon D40, trying my best to learn the craft.
About This Site
Each version of eddit.com is driven by the desire to learn a new technique, for example this version features a responsive layout, my first one (forgive any hiccups, a few must exist). This site was designed in Safari, coded in Textmate, and hosted at Dreamhost.
Cheers.
